Poster Presentation

CAREFULLY READ ALL

Out of concern for the safety and health of all participants due to the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, a hybrid format has been adopted for NEWCAS 2022, whereby participants may participate either in-person or virtually. Following, you will find detailed information for preparing your lecture and poster presentations.

Please confirm how you will be attending NEWCAS2022 via this survey.

There are two (2) format of presentation possible: Live on site and pre-recorded video uploaded to the streaming platform.

IMPORTANT: Whether you choose to be present on-site at the venue in Québec City or not, a pre-recorded video of each poster presentation will be prepared by all authors. Please see the page about Pre-Recorded Poster Video for detailed information.

Live on site

In order to make the poster session run smoothly, some cooperation from you, as a poster exhibitor, is necessary. First of all, it is essential that your poster is put up before the session begins and removed after it has ended.

The placement of your poster will be marked on the panel with your paper number. Look for your number in the conference program.

The size of the poster panel that is available to each presenter is 6 feet wide x 4 feet tall (about 180 cm x 120 cm).

You are free to choose a single poster (or many smaller posters) that fit on the given panel size.

Your posters will be attached to the panel with velcro pads, which will already be available on the panel. If you need velcro, please contact the poster area proctor.

Pre-recorded video

Once your video recording is complete, you will be able to upload your video using a submission link that we will provide in the coming days. With the timelines needed to hold the hybrid conference, we will need your video uploaded no later than May 9, 2022. This is a HARD DEADLINE. Presentations will not be accepted after this date.
